ABOUT LIGHT
I believe that business owners are what make this country great. It is important that thriving small businesses get started and change hands to the next ownership teams that can continue their success. My entire professional career has been exclusively dedicated to business owners and helping them get things done.
As an attorney, serving clients across the Tampa Bay area, my practice involves the representation of business owners, investors, lenders, and related entities in connection with all parts of a transaction. Getting a deal done has many constituents that all have their own perspective on what is the main thing and why. It’s important to have someone looking out for your best interests while moving as fast as possible towards the closing table.
Prior to becoming an attorney, I started, bought, sold, and ran small businesses. I know what it feels like to sell something you’ve started and I’ve sat on the other side of the table buying what someone has built. I’ve put my name on the personal guarantee line for big purchases, had some big successes and also had to fire people when there were failures. This gives me a practical perspective that I want to use to help you in your transaction.
